DURING THIS CLASS, I LEARNED HOW TO MAKE A SIMPLE PASTA DOUGH FROM THE INGREDIENTS, METHODS, AND CERTAIN TIPS AND TRICKS NECESSARY IN DIFFERENT SITUATIONS. I ALSO LEARNED HOW TO KNEAD THE DOUGH AND USE A PASTA MACHINE TO ROLL THEM OUT OUT TO THE PERFECT THICKNESS. THEN I MADE A SIMPLE MEAT FILLING FOR TORTELLINI. THE HARDEST PART WAS SEALING THEM BUT BY THE END, I FELT CONFIDENT IN FINISHING THEM BECAUSE MY TEACHER’S GUIDANCE. I ALSO MADE A SIMPLE YET DELICIOUS SAUCE TO GO WITH THE COOKED TORTELLINI. ANNACHIARA WAS MY TEACHER AND SHE WAS AWESOME. HER HOME IS SO WELCOMING AND VERY EASY TO FIND AS IT WAS SUPER CLOSE TO A STATION. SHE OFFERED WINE and SHARED MANY STORIES ABOUT HER FAMILY IN ITALY AND HER OWN EXPERIENCES. SHE WAS VERY WELCOMING AND COMFORTING. SHE ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS AND WAS SUPER FRIENDLY.
